Payment and Enrollment Details

  • Payment methods: Enrollment fees are due at the time of sign-up. All enrollment payments are processed securely via Stripe.
  • Enrollment confirmation: Your spot is secured once payment is completed. You’ll receive a confirmation email from me with next steps shortly after checkout.
  • Receipts and Invoices: A receipt will be sent automatically to your email by Stripe. If you need an invoice for any reason, please contact me via email.
  • Enrollments are commitments: Because seats are limited and each cohort is carefully planned, enrollment fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please enroll only if you’re confident you can participate as scheduled.
  • Program capacity: Cohort size is limited to ensure individualized support; once full, enrollment will close.

Attendance and Participation

  • Sessions: Live sessions are held every other week via Zoom.
  • Missed sessions: Recordings will be available if you miss a session. As a participant, you agree to prioritize attendance whenever possible — active engagement with peers is key to the program’s value.

Code of Conduct

  • Inclusion: Participants are expected to honor how their peers choose to identify, including names, pronouns, and other aspects of self-expression. Everyone has the right to define how they are addressed and treated in this space.
  • Respect: This coaching program is built on supportive, constructive communication. Please keep all feedback and conversation both professional and kind. Do not contact other participants outside of the program without their explicit permission.
  • Confidentiality: As a participant, you agree not to share other people’s drafts, feedback, or personal details outside the cohort.

Equity Rate

We believe access to structured support shouldn’t depend on your institution’s resources. To broaden participation, Write Your CAREER offers a 25% Equity Rate for eligible faculty.

  • Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or Primarily Black Institutions (PBIs): Institutions founded to serve African American students, officially recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. 👉 See the official list of HBCUs or PBIs
  • Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs): Colleges and universities where at least 25% of full-time undergraduates are Hispanic students, as defined by the U.S. Department of Education. 👉 See the official list
  • R2 Institutions (Doctoral/High Research Activity): Universities classified by the Carnegie system as having high levels of research activity (but not the very highest, which are R1s). 👉 Check Carnegie classification
  • EPSCoR States: States and territories designated by NSF’s Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research, which directs extra resources to build research capacity. 👉 See eligible states
  • Primarily Undergraduate Institutions (PUIs) or Small Liberal Arts Colleges (SLACs): Institutions focused on undergraduate education, typically with limited doctoral programs, as defined by the Carnegie Classification. 👉 See NSF eligibility criteria
Even if you’re at an undergraduate-focused institution and haven’t thought of the NSF CAREER program before, you are eligible to apply! This coaching program can help you explore that opportunity.
  • Other under-resourced institutions: If your university or department has limited grant-writing support, infrastructure, or mentoring capacity, you are also welcome to use the Equity Rate.
  • No extra paperwork is required — just choose the Equity Rate option at checkout.
  • This discount applies whether it’s your first CAREER submission or a resubmission.
  • As a participant, you agree to select the Equity Rate only if you meet one of the categories above or reasonably identify your institution as under-resourced.

Technology Requirements

  • Tools: Sessions are hosted via Zoom. A stable internet connection, webcam, and microphone are recommended.
  • Access: You will also receive shared documents (Google Docs or PDFs). As a participant, you agree to check your access before the program begins.

Privacy and Confidentiality

  • Information shared: Any personal details or draft proposals shared during the program are treated as confidential within the cohort.
  • Recordings: Live sessions will be recorded so participants can catch up if they miss a meeting. These recordings are for cohort use only. As a participant, you agree not to download, share, or distribute recordings outside the group.
  • Confidentiality: As a participant, you agree to respect the privacy of your peers by not sharing drafts, feedback, or personal details outside the cohort.

Intellectual Property

  • Your work: All proposals and drafts you create remain fully your intellectual property.
  • Program materials: Handouts, templates, and slides provided by me are for your personal use only and may not be shared publicly or redistributed.
  • Recordings: Session recordings are the intellectual property of the program. As a participant, you agree they are for personal use only and may not be shared, downloaded, or reused outside the program.

AI Tools and Transparency

  • Optional use: You’re welcome to experiment with AI-based tools (like ChatGPT or Grammarly) as part of your writing process.
  • Transparency: If you use AI-generated text in drafts shared with the group, please indicate where, so feedback can be tailored appropriately.
  • Use of peers’ work: As a participant, you agree not to upload or submit anyone else’s draft text or feedback into AI tools without their explicit permission.
  • Integrity: As a participant, you agree not to submit AI-generated work as your own proposal without substantive revision and ownership of the content.

Data Use

  • Enrollment data: Your name, email, and institution are collected only for program participation and communication.
  • Storage: Data (like enrollment info and session recordings) is stored in secure, password-protected platforms (Zoom, Google Drive, ConvertKit). Access is limited to the program organizer and participants where appropriate.
  • Sharing success: If you’d like to share your success story or testimonial from the program, we’d be honored to celebrate it (with your permission).
  • Contact: If you have any concerns about how your data is used or stored, email me.

Limited Liability

This coaching program is offered as is, with no guarantees of acceptance or specific outcomes. Participants are responsible for their own proposal content, submission, and results. If a participant violates another participant’s rights (intellectual property, data, or privacy) at any point, this program and Lisa Anthony / Agapanthus Editing are not responsible for resolving the issue.
